I am about to pick up a i7 iMac 2010... I guess it comes with the a Radeon 5750 1GB Card (Mobile 5850) Which is a decent card.

However, 2560x1440 is alot of pixels to push around. I am ONLY interested in gaming at Native Res because it looks alot better than squishing pixels.

How does this perform?

Most of my gaming will be done via Windows in Bootcamp obviously. This machine will not be a gaming machine by any means, but I play WoW, EVE, SC2, Counter Strike, and will pick up FFXIV later in the year.

I've heard from several people who have 5750's in their PCs, and it handles 1920x1080 at well over 100+ FPS for CS:S. I bet it should handle 2560x1440 very well.

I'm playing SCII and CoD4 fullscreen, 2560x1440, everything set to highest 4xAA on CoD4 on my 2010 i7 iMac. Everything runs at 30+ FPS.

you do not need AA turned on at that resolution...

I find it makes WoW look nicer (8XAA). I'm running it in OSX with everything on max, apart from texture filtering, and shadows. Using Vsync, and sitting at 60fps capped pretty much everywhere apart from Dalaran, where it will go no lower than 30 with a huge amount of people around.

That's great to know, will keep lots of WoW people happy! I wish the same could be said for newer games haha.
