View Full Version : Can't add email account on iPad

Good evening to you.

I purchased an iPad today & working my way through it.

Rather annoyingly I'm having trouble with setting up my sky.com email account on it. I have an iphone4 with this account set up & it took a matter of about a minute to set it up.

I have obviously put the right email address & password into the iPad , however unlike the iPhone where it found & accepted straight away , on the iPad it just keeps saying Cannot connect using SSL & then says do I want to try setting up the account without SSL. If I say yes to this , it then warns me that it's not responding.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here & why the same account & settings I have on my iphone4 , will not work on my iPad.

Since you are using the same settings as your iPhone, I would call Apple support for help.
