So, the thunderbolt display works great. Can you use the thunderbolt display (in shell mode) to a connected laptop when it's on battery power and not using the AC adapter provided by the display?
The display works when open (i.e., as a secondary machine) but when I close the laptop like usual to use the display as the only display, it doesn't work - meaning doesn't wake up from sleep...
Maybe it's designed to only work with laptop connected to power source?
Thanks!
