Can't Log in via Tapatalk

This happened to me once before and I had to jump through hoops to log in. I had to change the password a number of times and remove and reinstall the app. I have checked and rechecked my password but I continually get a wrong password error. And of course after 5 attempts I'm locked out for 15 minutes. At least it says fifteen minutes but it's actually longer than that.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: it finally allowed me to log in after about three more tries and 45 minute wait.

That's what I would have thought but when it happened last time I couldn't log in on my Mac either. I sent an email to support and they verified that it is an issue that comes up every now and again on the site.
