Whoa ... that's not what you want to hear. I'd like Apple to make a serious push to get more people to switch but the article states that it wasn't going well and they ended up canning the ads.

A quote from the article:

"An unbelievable amount of money was invested in this campaign, you wouldn't believe it," one source commented. "It was supposed to be a huge, huge campaign." Like the original campaign, the new Switch ads were destined for television, print, billboards, and buses. Switchers were paid $3,100 for their day's work"

Holy smokes ... $3100 in one day :eek:

Hmm wonder what the real reason was for dropping it. That would be nice to know!
