Both are excellent. If she doesn't mind a big phone or carries a purse the note ii is excellent and has amazing battery. Its the best phone on the market right now in many peoples opinions.

The s3 of course is also excellent. You can't go wrong with either. Both are a huge step up from the first galaxy s.
