Hi,
Has anyone ever had their app reviews deleted?
It took me my second app, and several months to get any,
then there were two that were posted close together (in time)
4 and five stars, both with good comments, one did contain some
requests for features I'm not interested in implementing.

Two or so days later, they are gone, and haven't been there since.
What gives?
I had friends test the particular app for the first month,
and specifically requested that they DO NOT rate it.

It's a free app, but I would be particularly pissed if it was commercial,
not that I don't care, as it was still a couple of thousand, and a lot of time to produce.
I've had no contact from Apple, nor have I made any.
Cheers, Art.

Do not depend on reviews (quantity or quality). Apple has a zillion different App store servers, and different reviews seem to end up on different servers at different times and under always changing rules. You can't depend on any of this, so assume it won't happen.

Best bet is to do your own marketing, completely outside Apple's App store, even though figuring how to do this well might be more difficult than developing your app in the first place.

It looks to me like your answering a different question by mistake,
or misunderstood my post.
so assume it won't happen.
I think you read that I want to have negative reviews deleted.

Or have positive reviews appear.

Neither is guaranteed by Apple. If it's not in the written App store agreement, assume it won't happen... except by good luck, fortune or grace. Better to take marketing into your own hands.

Ok, sorry, now I get you.

It turns out if I Google the app,
and open Apple's link that appears there, then the reviews are still there.
