I was out shopping for a doll

hi i want to record stuff on my ibook g4 with a mike and my dad thinks that although it sez EVERYWHERE that the ibook's jack is ONLY a headphone jack, does the ibook have a chip in it that would let me plug in a mike? thankx

I was about to say the same thing, this is very very weird.

She was out shopping for a doll when all of a sudden she wanted to know how to record on to her ibook? Like you guys, I don't see the connection. But oh well, hopefully she checks out the iMic and gets what she needs.

Or it is a a he (judging by the username) who was out shopping for a dell? Yuck!

what is there to understand? Someone suggested something too! So even if your story didn't quite make sense you still got a good suggestion out of it.
