I've noticed a few people's 'tars sporting eye patches. So I'm just wondering if pirate day is on it's way?

Last years April Fools was pirate day.
I think the eye patch thing is the newest theme put on by the demi's. I've noticed too.

I know of that particular day (we drove all the teachers at school crazy with it last year :D ) but I'm talking about something different. Last year on April Fools day, every member's ranking was given a pirate equivalent - "Matey", "Coxswain", "Town Clerk" etc...

I suspect it might be in honour of a certain eyepatch-clad poster (http://forums.macrumors.com/member.php?u=17437) becoming a Demi-God. But I might be wrong.
Arrr!

This pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel in his pants.
The bartender says, "Hey, you know you've got a steering wheel in your pants?"
The pirate says, "Yarrr..... it's drivin' me nuts!"

As for contributing, I had been putting it off for almost a year, and it was time. My ranking was nice and exclusive, yes, but now I can move up the ranks secretly and other members will eventually wonder what my actual rank is, just like Mr. Anderson and the others... ;)
P.S. Arrr matey.

Ah, don't worry about it, at times it's more hassle than you might think - the whole depth perception thing - well, at least in my case...
Oh, and I suppose instead of an eye patch we should be calling it an iPatch.

Not true at all -- getting others to join in is part of the fun!To be honest my 'tar's got such a tiny little peanut head you'd be hard pressed to notice him wearing an eyepatch – especially as so many posters around here seem to have only one working eye... :p
