I was browsing through MacRumors today (as you do), and was wondering if you guys have any plans of offering a few more forum skins for users to choose from?

I recently joined a photography forum, and its the best looking vBulletin skin I have ever seen. http://photographycorner.com

Do you have any plans on some more skins, and if yes are there any people out there with design skills who would be willing to help?

(Note: I'm not saying I dont like this current skin, its nice and simple and goes well with the community, this is just an idea)

Thing is it's not *just* a vB theme, it's the identity to the whole site. The theme runs throughout and ties in all the different areas of MacRumors uniformly.

I like MR's "skin" just as it is -- easy on the eyes and an unobtrusive backdrop to the site's content, which is the way it should be.

ETA: I just had a look at the site which was referenced. Ouch! It's pretty, yes, and uses a couple of my favorite colors, but definitely I would find it distracting if I were trying to read and post in the forums there.

I prefer the easy-on-the-eye, practical and gorgeous MR skin over that, and all other I've seen (that's not too many, though), any day...

There could always be additional skins that users could select if they like.

Yes, this skin has become an identity, which means it should always remain the defualt, but giving folks the options wouldn't hurt.

(Not saying its needed...MR looks good. Just saying the addition of the option has no drawbacks).
