I tried to find the thread that started it all, but searching for pancakes yeilds nothing. Except strange looks from coworkers passing by.

I don't make pancakes. Bad for the skin :p But back when I was a muggle I just had plain ones. 3 with about a gallon of syrup. I think the thin ones were always best. :)

Only reason I remember them is because we stopped there on the way back form the beach a couple of weeks ago. I don't know what they do, but their pancakes make all the others look and taste rubbery and disgusting.

I actually like CB's food. But the store is creepy. All these pictures of old dead people on the walls. Old toys and such, very creepy. And while the gobs of candy look tempting, its hard to sell me 'fresh' candy in such a place. :o

Buiscuits. Cornbread. Grandma's Pancake Breakfast: 2 poached eggs. 3 thick slices of bacon. 3 buttermilk pancakes with 2 quail's egg sized dollops of fresh butter. Ate the buiscuits and cornbread while I waited. Once the food arrived, I spread the butter evenly over the hot (steaming!) pancakes to let it soak in. Then ate the bacon first. Then the eggs. Saved the wonderful pancakes for last... stacked them up (no sign of the butter!), and used BOTH bottles of syrup.

I've never actually been to Red Lobster. Why? Because I live in Rhode Island, with more cost line per square mile than any other state. We don't need 90% of our seafood flown in from across the country.

I don't know any German, I was just using the translation widget as that's what I assumed he had done (and I was trying to be funny -- seems to be a constant element of my posts, yet I always seem to fail). Other than English I only know French and Italian. Although I have learned what Eingang, Ausgang, Einbahn, and a few other words mean from the 2 weeks I just spent in mostly German speaking areas.

right;) so then why do you have less than 15,855 in the general forum? anyway, that has probably happened because of the ever-lasting strength and holiness of the flying spaghetti monster (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=2604239#post2604239). so maybe you aren't a stealth demi after all.;)
