Hi, my iTunes library has a folder in it called iPod Photo Cache, and I do have an iPod that holds photos, but the file is 1.94GB large; and I was wondering if that file is needed. thankx

If you have iTunes set to copy your photos to your iPod then yes, it's requried. This file is where iTunes stores the scaled copies of the photos you have on your iPod. If you remove it then it will be recreated next time you sync.
