I too am wondering this. Being the pro machine, I have my doubts. However, I can't imagine Apple just not including it on the Mac Pro. All they'd have to do is include an infrared port in a place that's not very noticeable.

And I don't see that changing anytime in the near future. It's a nice "bell & whistle" they can use to try and sell their hardware. Checkout this pointless little feature that we have that no one else has, pretty cool, huh?

Yes, yes, I realize that. I didn't think of that until after I posted my reply. :o

I feel embarrassed for misreading MacPro as MacBook. It was a long night....:o

Anyway, I agree it'll be on the Mac Pro, if for no other reason than because I expect them to put the IR port to use in other ways in the future, so I expect an IR port and remote, which strongly implies they'll add Front Row.

I can definitely see Apple putting it in the Mac Pros.

On a side note, I believe that logically the Apple Cinema Displays will also get built-in iSight cameras.

Thanks for all your input regarding the Front Row issue.

If Apple do put iSight into their displays, it's a shame because they are forcing Mac mini owners to buy Apple's display if they want the iSight. Some people have them hooked up to their tv so there is no reason to buy a Apple screen.

Yes it will be in Mac Pros.

No iSight in ACD.

Steve Jobs told me so.

Nope.

Just pointing out that amount of customers that cannot get an iSight is limited.
