iSync wont' work with SE W810i

I've just unlocked my SE w810i so that I can use another network SIM. However the iSync has stopped working. I did have a plug in by Nova Media before however I think that iSync 2.3 now supports the w810i so I've deleted the Nova Media plug in. However, whenever I try to add the device in iSync I am advised that iSync cannot connect to this device. I've tried re-pairing my device from both the Mac and the phone but no lock tso far.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?😕

Sorted it. No idea why but by setting the handset to never ask to allow a connection I was able to connect to the device and everything ( I think) is working ok now.
 
I think you might have to play with a kext file so that it 'sees' that model of phone. I seem to recall the same problem with the k750 initially...
 
According to Apple's iSync site, this phone is supported. I've just worked out how to change the setting the OP described so I'll try again. Don't want to laboriously type everyone's details in from the phone...
