Everytime I try to click a submit button, whether it be to post or on ebay, etc... Safari gives me the error, 'Safari unexpectedly quit...' How can I go back to the previous version? Please explain in baby steps, I am a newbie. :)

Did you try changing your cookies settings or popup blocker settings?
Other than that I'm not sure if you can find an earlier version:( Someone else might have more help

You can probably find an older version on one of the p2p programs (LimeWire, Acquisition).

i like the tabs they have implemented...BUT i have had safari "unexpectedly quit" several times since beta 2 came out. ALSO, i noticed the other night, when pages are loading or other actions occur in safari...i get noise from my speakers. its annoying, didnt happen with the previous safari, and doesnt happen with other programs!

I would uninstall, clear out all temp files, as well as user prefs, and start over with a fresh install. sometimes upgrades bork stuff... it happens.

Hey uhlawboi80, I saw you have the same powerbook is me. Is the noise that you hear a very high pitched "squeak"? I find that when Safari is loading pages I hear strange noises coming from my powerbook, but definately not from the speakers. I here the same noise when system preferences is checking for software updates.

try trashing the preference file in your HOME>LIBRARY>PREFERENCES folder.
with safari closed, trash the file and restart your system, then safari. i was having problems earlier with redering and this seemed to work.

dont trash anything in your HOME>LIBRARY>SAFARI folder though. thats where all your book marks are.

Why not use the handy-dandy, built-in "Reset Safari..." located in your Safari menu?

It empties your cache, history, prefs, etc. w/out needing to go diggin around in directories. :)

You also may need to uninstall Safari Enhancer if you installed it for a previous version of Safari.

Of course, if nothing seems to work, don't bother getting any further fustrated. Go down to an unreleased beta, if you feel comfortable enough to hunt down an earlier beta (I'm using v64, for instance) use that instead.

I am still hanging onto version 60 in the old trash can. I have had a few extra beach balls on the new version and one unexpected quit.

I have also had better sucess on pages with alot of animated gifs. Also flash seems to be working better.

If anybody needs 60 just PM me. I don't mind distributing it since Apple approved the release. :)

Is anyone noticing how slow Safari is with the latest release?

Ever since I installed Beta 2 it's been very slow with a lot of sites.

Guess I'll just have to stick with Camino.

I get unexpected quits and no-go links as well on the B2 Safari. OK, "oops, Apple?"

What's up with this?

speaking of browser problems :)

"my" safari beta 2 doesn't seem to work well with javascripts.

not always... just occasionally.

I've just installed the latest version of Safari and I'm still having problems using the pop-up window for blog posting. I used Moveable Type. I had this problem with the previous versions of Safari. Anyone else having this problem?
