I was wondering if this HD was compatible with a PB G4?

(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822136007)I know the old drive was ATA, but this one is Ultra ATA. Any difference?

Thanks

Yep...should be fine. Ultra ATA/100 and ATA-6 are the same thing.

One more thing.

Which would be better, the Western Digital above or this Samsung Spinpoint M Series?

I don't know anything about these drives in particular, but the Samsung one seems to have better reviews.

I'm a fan of Seagate drives myself, but there are lots of other good ones out there.

Looks like I'm upgrading the stock HD sooner rather than later; Leopard here I come!
Edit: Nevermind, they don't ship to Canada. Blarghhh
