I'm almost 16, and I want to work at the apple store this summer. I was actually offered a job by a manager, so i think i'm in despite my age. I think that since it doesn't really say on the application page that you must be 18, if you come in for an interview(if they do that) and you really know what you're talking about, they will consider you. I got offered a job when i had a bad macbook, i went to the store with my mom to get a replacement, and after describing the problem and what i did, he was like do you want a job? And it was pretty simple mac stuff, like i waas telling him i repaired permissions, ran a diagnostics test, reset PRAM etc.Ok, its not simple, especially considering that most people that work on the floor really don't know that much. I had one guy tell me i needed to send in my sister's iBook to get replacement feet for the bottom, where i knew all i needed was the feet, which they had in the store, and i could just pop em in. Well, i c alled applecare and they sent me some, and all i needed to do was put it in(that's what she said, haha). The guy at the store insisted there was a special "genius glue" so i couldn't do it myself and i had to send it in.
