Hi. I've been seeing numerous "Xdrive" (http://www.xdrive.com/partners/?p=aolgen&promo=766593&gcid=aifreemediabuy090621) ads here on MR and am wondering if any of you guys use it and how you like it. Is it any good?

I just signed up for it and it already seems great. 5GB is very generous and it can even be mounted as a Harddrive.

Really? How?
I was only able to use the online browser which didn't work to well.

I wouldn't touch it. AOL was once a great internet company, but now is a flailing corporation that tries every which way to take over your computer and suck every cent out of your pocket.

Can it be mounted on OS X or only on Windows?

Xdrive is kinda neat. I signed up for it.
Havent really used it at all though. Problem is that yes, it is 5GB, but its limited in how much bandwidth you can do a month. Techinally, if I remember right, it will take you 4 months to fill up that 5GB without paying for it. The software is kinda annoying, it starts up and mounts it at boot, which can slow down things, but its rather easy to shut down, but even when I removed it from msconfig, it would reconfigure itself (bastard! :p ) Haven't reallly used it since I reformatted though.

So when you said it was mountable as a Hard Drive, you meant on Windows? :(
