I met the Groundlevel Software team at MacWorld San Francisco. They created Drumbeat, possibly the best peer to peer file-sharing program available. Unfortunately it is not available on OS X. You'll have to run Classic to get this baby to work, but it's well worth the effort.
I connected to the network less than 5 minutes ago and here are my stats.

Connected to 40 servers...”

I'm hoping more people will use Drumbeat and email these guys telling them to get on the ball about converting to OS X!
