As much as I dislike them, It's nothin' to do with M$. The store obviously took it back and resold it without checking it.

Fair amount of blame needsd to go on the parents... I mean come on - a Zune.. ;)

Isn't that the only way a Zune is worth something? ;)

Heh. Well it was a used Zune so the previous owner is to blame.

Okay the previous owner put p0rn on the Zune.

However, since it was returned, shouldn't the store ensure that it is in a "new" state before re-selling it? Me thinks so.

When I first watched the video, it failed to load the Wal-Mart bit.

But, the fact someone did it with a Zune and not an iPod makes me smile.

Feel sorry for the girl watching some dodgy stuff.

I remember when I was younger we went and got some new boardgames from toys r us, and when I opened up battleships, it had the old game in it, much like the one i already had, but was broken... the box was in a film wrap, and the fact someone re-wraped a game just so they could get a new one, and not pay for it scares me.

Unfortunately there are people like that out there.

What sort of mental deficiency did the person who returned it suffer from that they would take it back with that sort of content on it...

Preloaded? Sounds hot.

And another thing how could the mother possibly operate the zune with those nails?

I'm wondering WTF that terrier is doing on her head.

Either way, there's a thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=262766) about this already.

Feel bad for the 12 year old girl on this one, and shame on Walmart, they should have given a refund and a brand new re-checked Zune (or preferably an iPod).

You would think most folks would zero out the device before returning it.

So maybe this was done on purpose and your question applies.

Here in Britain we had a worse case a while ago. Someone bought a DVD recorder, which came with one empty recordable DVD. He tried the recorder, didn't like it, returned it to the shop. Together with one recorded DVD full of child porn. The same DVD recorder was sold again, the next customer found the DVD, looked at it, called the shop and the police. The shop figured out who returned the DVD recorder, and an arrest was made.
