Well, I finally made the decision!! After tossing up between the MB & MBP for the last three weeks, I realised I couldn't take it any longer. So on Friday I rushed into my local b&m and bought Jack (see sig).
The reason that I went with the iMac over it's more portable cousins: I really wanted the power of the MBP (Aperture & PS) but it would have left me broke. As we already have my GF's Maggie, we that we could reach a compromise on sharing the laptop and a desktop. With portability no longer an issue, the 20" iMac was really the only option.
But WOW😱 what an option it is!!! I really don't want to gush, but it's awesome! The huge screen real estate is fantastic and it absolutely flies. I would give you technical details and benchmarks but the sh*t-eating grin on my face is stopping me from doing anything sensible right now😀. I love it.
