And when I clicked on the file, it says Unable to unarchive "UT2004-MAC-Demo3334.dmg.bz2" into "Desktop". (Error 2 - No such file or directorv.)

What does this mean?

Sounds like a corrupt disk image. Occasionally when you download a file the connection will time out or it was a bad file to begin with. You're sometimes left with a "complete" disk image.

So if I just re-download it, it should be fine?

Anyways...it's from unreal tournament.I thought you were. I've had the same problem downloading it from Atari's web site.

Additionally, I don't think it's a Universal Binary as well.

What are you using to unstuff?

If it's not the latest version of Stuffit Expander (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/182), give it a shot.

The .bz2 at the end means it is a disk image that has then been compressed by another program like Stuffit. So he might need Stuffit.

The .bz2 at the end means it is a disk image that has then been compressed by another program like Stuffit. So he might need Stuffit.OS X already has the proper libraries to uncompress .bz2 files. There's absolutely no need for Stuffit.

try running

bunzip2 UT2004-MAC-Demo3334.dmg.bz2

from the terminal and see what it outputs. This day and age there is no reason to install stuffit anymore. everything you need is built into the OS

Try this link to download the demo http://www.macgamefiles.com/detail.php?item=18034 I don't think it's Universal but the full game has a universal patch.
