Backing up onto mac mini

I've plugged my mac mini into my MBP via ethernet so I can backup some files. I cant find the mac mini in the network folder though? Am I doing something wrong?

im presuming "personal file sharing" is enabled on your computer? grab the ip of the computer, go to the finder, hit :apple: -K and type in the IP, should then connect.
