How to convert a downloaded google video (.gvp) to play in iTunes?

If I wanted to download a long movie from google video and save it to my Mac and then wanted to convert it so that I could save it in iTunes and thus play it on my apple tv how would I go about converting it?

if youve already downloaded the video,
grab a copy of "movie pod" and see if the videos are compatible with the google vids. im pretty sure they are, im just trying it now but i at school, so its hard to get around things.

you could also try downloading the ipod version of the google vids?? im pretty sure that tv could read that

You should use the iPod download link like suggested. Otherwise I believe Visual Hub would convert it.
