Would it be smarter for my mom and sis to buy their regular phones today?

I was originally planning on camping at a Cingular Store on Friday, and then we'd walk out with two regular phones, and my iPhone.

None of us are in a contract.

Now, my question is... To save time, money, effort, etc... would it be wise for my mom and sister to get in a contract, get two new phones, and all that jazz today. Then, on Friday, I go to the Apple store, buy my iPhone, and just add it to the contract they just bought?

Can't see it hurting.....maybe you could even get a free phone.


THen "upgrade" to the iPhone...you wouldn't lose any money, and gain a back up phone(incase anyone break's their phone)
