Why isn't there a mac os 9 f@ client application? I have a ton of little 7500,7600,6500 and clones that I could use for folding, and i do not use ten in my beige g3 'cause its too slow

Because 10 was coming out when they made the mac version and they never wanted to re make a new client for an old OS so they never made one.

I could have about 800 more CPU's if they did make a Os 9 client but it never happened.

it comes down to simplicity

as macman pointed out they would have to write a new client from scratch. most machines i see with 9 run SETI as a DC...that's stanford's fault.

with the X version, they pretty much port the linux code
