Why does OsX always recover my trash?!

I delete my trash normally (not the 35 pass crap).

I shut my laptop down.

I boot it up.

Lo! In the trash can is a folder called "Recovered Files" at least 4 out of 10 boots.

tmpxxxxxxxx
...x

what is this crap?

heres Apple's explanation on the matter. next time search within Apple's support docs they are very useful and do a search in this forum as this has been asked numerous times.
