Turns out ol' Charlie was carrying his MBA and tripped... and rather than sacrifice his MBA to the cold, hard sidewalk, he protected it and did a faceplant resulting in a black eye and (what looks like) stitches. His MBA just got a little blood on it.

Charlie: Love ya, man, but get yourself a case for your computer!

you're right, that flying macbook air looks a little suspicious. 😉

I flipped on the tv and saw Charlie looking like he had been mugged and wondered myself what had happened. So I googled it and found this: http://machinist.salon.com/blog/2008/03/18/charlie_rose/

It's possible a good gush of wind sent that thing flying considering how light it is.

I agree, he obviously has the dough,
he shouldn't worry if he stubbed his toe
You can buy an "Air" most anyplace
So next time please do save your face!

HOWEVER...

If you don't have the money to replace,
then be sure to plant any part of your face!!!!!!
