I have a DP MDD 867 that I got last August. It works fine except for one annoying problem. It will often not wake from sleep. The fans will spin up, but nothing else works. No eject, no display, not even the caps lock light on the keyboard. I have to hold the power button and restart.
I have noticed that it seems to be only when a USB hub or PCI card is present. I ran the system for 14 days without any extra USB devices and it woke every time. If I attact the hub or PCI card it fails to wake about 20% of the time. I have tried it with USB device attached and off, attached and on, or not attached at all. In all cases I got a failure to wake in just days.
Any ideas? Anyone else have the same trouble? Some indications are it might be exclusive to the 867. Anyone with a 1gig or better have this issue?
