Just bought a new :apple:TV, and after huge head scratching still cannot see it as a device in iTunes on my 10.5.3 MBP. Running on a AEB wireless network.

Prefs are set to search for :apple:TVs, but no luck.

What is stranger is I just found that my GFs MacBook on 10.5.2 can happily see the :apple:TV on the same network with the same settings.

Anyone got any advice? Anyone with similar experiences?

set your AEBS to a fixed channel. there are some issues / threads around the "automatic channel" settings for it.
I changed it on mine and ever since everything works perfectly.

Strange. I'm on 10.5.3 with the AEBS, no problems here. It just worked.

I had some problems back in 10.5.2, restarting iTunes did the trick.

Its been set to channel 6 the whole time I'm afraid. There's gotta be something about the MBP thats different (other than 10.5.3 Vs 10.5.2).

Only time I saw it on the MBP was when I connected the MBP via ethernet to the :apple:TV
