My old, cheap GE speakers have bit the dust, my room smells like ozone. What do you sugget? I'm looking for:

Sub $200
Don't need more than 2.1
Nice subwoofer

I have the jbl 2.1 (i can't think of the name) Creators or something but they are white and not that bad....

i've got the klipsch 2.1 and they just rock, i highly recommend them!

You should seriously consider the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 setup. For about $179 you get a lot of power with great clarity. They aren't very old and are already pretty much considered legendary for PC sound. Plus, they are loud.... I mean LOUD!

I'm working on a video right now, so I needed them ASAP. I went ahead and got the Creative I-Triges (http://grabber.compuvest.com/Description.jsp?ItemID=46405) They fit everything I needed. Thanks for the input.
