I have to say it was well worth the upgrade
and it's incredibly fast....I thought the beta was fast but damn this is even quicker:D

Did you get the upgrade or full purchase? I have been thinking about getting it, but I need to hold off a little longer before I do.

Man, I cannot wait to get my hands on Photoshop 7. I am still using PS6 for OS9, and booting up in Classic is becoming rather boring. I need something bad for OS X. But I am sure my parents will get it for me for my birthday.

BTW, so far, this looks like this is the longest post on this thread.

whats the difference between booting in 9 and starting up classic
classic better cause if it crashes you can still keep going cause of OSX

Speaking of which, has anyone else experienced this? I'll be working in some OS X program when all of the sudden I'll get the spinning-whatever-of-death and the program will become unresponsive. The hard drive will be churning like mad and I'll look over and notice that Classic and all of my classic programs that were running have crashed. I'll have to force quit the OS X application I'm currently using in order to regain control.

This only happens after I've used the system for a long time, so maybe I'm thinking it's a memory leak somewhere in classic? Or is it Photoshop 6's fault? Whatever, it's annoying. Anyone else have that? :confused:

I did that on my old imac but its doesn't do that on my new one
the harddrive would spin like mad and make a huge noise
but I have no probs with the new one

In response to Beej, I am used to saying booting up in OS 9. I start running Classic from OS X. My mistake.
