8 Core 1337Mhz or 4 Core 1600Mhz

I have two choices

2x Quad Core 3Ghz 1.3Ghz FSB 2400
1x Quad Core 2.8 1.6Ghz FSB 2000

What do you think?

Let me know please, I dont know the the lower FSB is worth it.

What about the 16% decrease in FSB speed ?? No one thinks thats worth considering?

If you can use 8 cores then the benefits far outweigh the FSB differences. Otherwise go with the 4 core.

Though be aware that the 8x2.8GHz @ 1600MHz is better than the 8x3GHz @ 1333MHz and can be had for a similar price used/refurb.
 
Apple list them for $2,399 on the refurb section and they also go on ebay for around that. You have to monitor both of those sources however and be ready to buy.

The higher FSB systems are faster all round even at the lower GHz speed. If you are buying the most basic of the setups then you will also get a much better graphics card, more memory, larger hard drive, built in bluetooth and some other things I can't remember off the top of my head. A used 8 core 3GHz may not have Leopard either.
