Quick RAM Question

Hey guys.

I have a Black Macbook 2.4 GhZ with 2 GB of RAM. I am thinking of buying another 2 GB of RAM from Crucial. But, I have a question. Do I have 2 x 1 GB "sticks" of RAM or 1 x 2 GB sticks? How would I buy RAM so that I have 4 GB? What's the cheapest RAM that works on a Macbook?
