I want to get one of these for my MDD 867. Any idea where to get one for less than the $100 Apple wants? Have not found any on Ebay. Next step is to work the phones and call the apple shops and see if any can do better than $100.

Well, unfortunately you didn't posted a picture or link. But I reckon on a local computerparts store or a computerfair (is it called like that?!). You will probably don't get the exact same heatsink, probably one that will do the trick just as good, or even better! You can always build your own, a piece of copperplate isn't that expensive!

I doubt you can make your own cause of all the ultra thin fins on it. However try powerlogix, sonnet and the other upgrade company's. They should have a parts department and might be able to hook you up.
