Good Deal on Crucial RAM

I envy you all that have newer MacBooks. I have 2GB and I've hit the Apple maximum.

However, I've heard that MacBooks with a 2GB limit can actually use 3GB. Isn't it best to have the RAM sticks be the same? Is this concept recommended?
 
will that work in my whitebook? I got it in dec07. It's got 2.2 ghz intel core 2 duo. 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. With the 120 gig HD. Thanks.

Mine is the sames as yours,(a 2.2) and I paid $97 for my 4GB in January. This is a sue-eet deal, go for it and your MB will fly!😎
 
nice...yeah i just wanted to make sure that was the right pin set so the sticks will fit....I'm gonna cruise down to the store soon and see if they have this instore as well.
 
picked up the crucial ram instore last night from frys...man that place can get a little hectic....price in store was still 89.99 so they had to price match their own website to lower it for me....once this texas ou game is over i need to get a little screw driver so i can install it....hopefully it works without a hitch
 
In my PC days as an IT person and builder of over 400 Custom PC's I always told people on of the best things you can do for yourself and your PC is to buy the most RAM you can afford. As far as I am concerned, with my BMB, I'm practicing what I preach. Crucial RAM in all situations is Rock Solid!😉
