It appears that both of these apps are for iPods and both require them to be in
"disk mode". I need to get music off of an iPhone and don't believe there is a way to put it in disk mode. Is there a way to get music off of my iPhone and into an iTunes library?

make sure you reset your old computer back to original defaults then plug in your iphone into new computer when itunes pops up hit the tab store at the top of the page authorize computer and then go to itunes tab and choose it will bring options up the one you want is transferring purchases from iphone! Note you need to make sure you download all itunes to your iphone or ipod depending on the space from your old computer first before trying this so that is the first step then erase and install your old computer then plug in your device or ipod log in with the same id you used then do the steps with authorizing and then hit itunes and transfer purches from the device or ipod and enjoy!! I didnt pay 99 bucks after all apple always trying to make a buck but not on my watch lmfao!!!:p

Hi there,
Your best bet copy music from my iPhone into a new iTunes library is to follow these few easy steps

It's very easy and worked great for me!

Easy, but limited. The below references CopyTrans. The free version is limited to 100 tracks. Appears to be very professional software. Separate/extra charge for transferring pictures. Not exactly like a drive map, more like a backup/restore util.

TouchCopy is a good one for this. It works for the PC and the Mac.
You can get the free demo version here

I used TuneAid after I had to get a new hard drive, and it was a piece of cake.

Hi, I used the free version of iPod 2 mac (which works also for my iPhone).
http://www.macroplant.com/podtomac/
You can either purchase it for 20 bucks and have cool stuff.
or you can use the free version where you have to do it one by one.
However, I have 1,300 + songs and once I started I got it over in like an hour maybe (use your keyboard down arrow + click, much faster).
Also it will say you have to wait for 60 seconds after transferring x number of songs, but if you ignore the message after the 60 seconds are down, it will just allow to transfer unlimited.
So I am very happy of this program, now I have all my songs on my mac and itunes library (which I will back up right away so I don't have to do it agaiN!! lol).
Good luck !

If the music is "Purchased", connect your phone to iTunes, right click on your device and select "Transfer Purchases". That will transfer all of the purchased music, and apps to iTunes, and you don't need any software to do it. If you need software, iRip 2 (http://thelittleappfactory.com/irip/?gclid=CPiY9P_1sqcCFUta2godAXty_A) works for a lot more than music. There is also podtomac, and senuti, that will work well.

First of, in iTunes, select "Store" in the menu and authorize the computer.
Then, when your iPhone is connected right click on it and select "Transfer Purchases", this should move your content from your iPhone to your computer.
There is a step by step instruction on how to copy or transfer music from iPhone to iTunes (http://www.softwarebbs.com/wiki/How_to_transfer_music_from_iPhone_to_iTunes_on_PC).
Hope it can do you a favor.

Just bought my Macbook Pro today. And synced my music with DeTune. Works perfect!

Great, I didn't know this one (DeTune), looks nice. Anyway, here's another great round up of iPod/iPhone backup tools (http://en.kioskea.net/faq/9463-comparison-of-ipod-iphone-ipad-backup-software) for Windows, Mac and Linux in the.

Hi,
All you need to do is go to your music library and under the edit button on the top tool bar select "select all" then click "copy".
Then go to your Iphone music library under the "devices" section in ITUNES and click on the MUSIC folder, once your in this folder select "paste" under the edit menu. And your music will then start to transfer.
Besides, there are articles about transferring iPhone music to iTunes, which can help you transfer songs from iPhone.
For PC: How to transfer music from iPhone to iTunes on Windows (http://www.iphone-mac.com/how-to-transfer-music-from-iphone-to-itunes-on-pc.html)
For Mac: How to transfer music from iPhone to iTunes on Mac OS (http://www.iphone-mac.com/how-to-transfer-music-from-iphone-to-itunes-on-mac.html)
Hope that work for you so much.

Heya, found this while trying to find a solution myself and here's how I got it to work. I use a Windows 7 Machine so this will be for windows.
Step 1: Download DiskAid
http://www.digidna.net/products/diskaid
Step 2: Run the .exe, install, and open DiskAid
Step 3: Disable your internet.
In order to copy over folders, this program requires you to buy an extremely overpriced license for $24, so if you want to spend that money go right ahead, but here's how to get around it.
- With your internet disabled, click on the "register" link in the bottom left corner
- Now, at this point I would have you use a keygen, but I will save you the step and post the keygen information here to use. The reason we have our internet off is so the software's servers cant check the integrity of the key.
- In the Email box, type: linezer0@gmail.com
- In the Key box, type: 9A7B62BF2BB88F72798430749DD81B06
- If you get something saying "thank you for buying this" it worked.
(If the key here doesn't work for some reason, here's a link to the keygen. (http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7022343/DigiDNA.DiskAid.v5.0.9.Incl.Keygen-Lz0)
Step 4: Click the "Copy to Computer" icon in the top left corner, select what you want to copy ("music, photos, movies, etc." and to where ("to itunes or folder") and let it work,
Step 5: When it's finished, check that the music is now in your iTunes library, if so then close DiskAid and turn your internet back on.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!
