Is it worth it to upgrade ?

I will use primarily for work (word, excel, etc), sling box for remote tv and on-line stock trades.

I found the iMac in my sig for quite the discount... however, I *constantly* wish I had the upgraded video card... so much, so, that I'm trying to find a chance to sell mine and upgrade.

Get the 8800. At some point, you'll be glad you did!

Not for what you do currently, but it will have higher resale value for awhile and you may find it useful if you play video games.
