Wirelessly posted (Windows Mobile 6 POS: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12) Dopod838Pro)

Booq are the best IMHO. Their line designed for the new mb/mbp will be available on the 25th of november. Look at the Taipan for neoprene or the Vyper for ballistic nylon.

There are a few "cheapo" brands who have wacked together versions for the new models already but I have looked at a few and I would definitly wait for the Booqs.

I actually think this one is better - 'Larobe (http://store.apple.com/uk/product/TJ653ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA2Ng&mco=MjIzMDk2NQ)'. Its got overall BETTER reviews than the Incase sleeve and its actually shipping in 24 hours unlike the Incase where it says 1-2 weeks :D

I've ordered an Applesac though :D

The STM Glove (http://www.stmbags.com.au/products.php?id=46&name=small_macbook_glove_13&category=specialcases) is my favourite. It's simple and has a zipper guard to prevent the zipper from damaging your Macbook.

I like the Mobile Edge Slipsuit. It has a pouch for your power cord and even a mouse or CD if you want. While it looks like it has handles, those are just the zippers in the picture, but it does have a loop handle on the side.

Incase has one that was for the old model, but it still fits quite well on the new one. Also, Applesac is popular amongest some crowds, but its definitely a love/hate kinda thing.

i thought i hated apple sac but after looking at the black one its really grown on my, but my only concern is does it really protect it from anything besides scratches or is that what all sleeves basically are for. to protect from scratches. i am thinking of getting an apple sac and a notebook backpack as well. :apple:

incase or applesac

Or you could go with just a generic case it doesnt have to be brand name you could save a little money this way

How do those Incase sleeves work on the new 13" MacBooks? I was told they don't fit tightly because of the thinness.

I bought one myself the day I got my new MacBook, because I had ordered an Incase Nylon Plus that hadn't arrived yet.

The Neoprene Sleeve fits, but fits like a sweatshirt rather than a turtleneck, if you know what I mean. Yeah, it's loose, but not my much at all. If you put the notebook into the case and lay it down, then run your hand along the top, the case moves a little. That's only about as loose as it is. I don't mind; I'd rather it be a little loose more than tight because (A) I'd rather not have to constantly stretch it to get it over the notebook, and (B) I think being tighter would make the zipper material more likely to rub up against (and scratch) the notebook.

Incases are always highly recommended by me, and this one is no exception. By the way, I love my Nylon Plus even more! Hope all that helped.

Thanks for the advice, especially coming from a fellow Arizonan :D

Applesacs look cool, but I think it ruins the minimalism of the MacBook (plus, I don't think it will fit in my backpack).

It's a little loose, but I like the fact that it "tucks" and covers the MacBook before you zip it.

I just pre-ordered the Booq Taipan (http://www.booqbags.com/All-Products/Taipan-skin/Taipan-skin-S-black) sleeve for my new MB. My fingers are crossed that the real thing looks as badass as the one in the photos. It's made for the aluminum MB's (hence the backordered status-they ship on the 25th), so the fit should be perfect.

I like the sleeves I see in this thread but I think they are a little overpriced. I was leaning towards the incase. The applesac is not my style.

I said I would post reviews and pics of a sleeve I bought on ebay. Overall, I like it a lot. It fits like a glove and has excellent cushion, yet slim and not bulky. I love the glove type fit w/ zipper protection. Cost me $14.99 plus $4.99 shipping and I received in in 4-5 days.

I was concerned about that too, but the foam is not that thick. I'm pressing it down pretty hard and the foam regains it's form quickly after I release. Like I said, it's slim and not bulky.

Not very expensive, and I am VERY impressed with the solid build. Very well padded and holds the MB very securely.

I love the look of the sumocase, it seems to be exactly what im looking for. i have a couple of questions:
-does it add a a lot of bulk to the computer, or is it just enough to keep it padded/protected?

-what's the fabric on the inside of it?

-does it seem at all water resistant?

-does it fit the aluminum macbook well, or is it loose/is there a lot of wiggle room?

...i wish they had the pink one...

before I was thinking that I would go with the apple sac because I like the velcro flap, but the fleece on the inside was worriesome to me...the sumocase may be the answer to all my problems!

any opinions/reviews would be greatly appreciated!!
