even if you can manage to expand the DMG file, inside it will still be a mac .App file.

lol you guys are recommending he buy a $1,000+ machine just to download a game.

is the game not available in a PC version? you should give the name maybe some of the members here would know and point you in the right direction on finding it for PC. Most games that you find for Mac were on PC first.

You mean $600+.

And maybe it isn't available for PC.
Or maybe it was a gift and they don't have the recipt.

Well, he did say it was a game and I don't think you'll be gaming on a mini. So he was right, although a mbp, iMac or mac pro would be better. The point is he should look for the game on the pc. I can't think of any games that are available on the mac that aren't on windows. I could be wrong though. Some of the big ones are WoW, call of duty and spore which are all available on windows. We need more info (which game is this)

No. Read the thread. He has a Mac .dmg file that contains a Mac game. He runs XP, he wants to open the dmg.

Even if you somehow got the file converted to something like a zip or iso, wouldn't do you any good. It's most likely an app written for OSX. You could attempt to convert your PC into a Hackentosh.

And now the thread has wrapped back around itself and we're back to post three.
