Halo PC keys don't work for the Mac version. :(
Late EA titles are just Cider wraps and you're probably good to go with those. Pretty much anything from Aspyr too.

It's old, but Quake 3 doesn't have problems using the key from a Linux copy. I downloaded the 1.32 Point release for Windows, and copied some files over from the CD and it's all good. I bought the Linux version years ago in clearance when the PC version was still $30 or $40. I need to try it out with Mac. Is there a universal binary for Quake 3?

Thanks cardude! Hopefully running it in OSX will fix the crackling sound that I sometimes get when I run Q3A in Vista.

This is good to hear, as I just picked up Red Alert 3 because it was on sale, and while I don't really have a problem playing in Windows, it'd be nice to have the option of playing it directly in OS X.
Whenever the Mac version of Red Alert 3 drops I'll try my key out and see what happens.
