the radio station i listen to on the way to uni got everybody REALLY good lately...

we recently had a highway installed (used to be a one/two lane hunk of junk for 100,000 cars to pass through each day and it used to take hours to travel just a few km's).

anyway the highway is great! takes 5mins to do a few hours drive on the old road :)

today they announced that they were going to introduce a $5 toll road ($2.50 each way). the reaction was INSANE! i was going balistic in the car yelling at everything haha. even the local council went along with it...

i was in such an angry mood, ok now - im laughing.

To clarify: We never purposely pose stories that we know to be false, on April 1 or any other day.
We do not make up news stories or rumors, on April 1 or any other day.
In reporting the news on April 1, we work even harder than usual to avoid posting stories that are real-looking but are in fact pranks.
We enjoy jokes around the Internet on April 1 as much as anyone, and members are welcome to discuss them and point them out in this thread.
We've been known to add surprises to our own site, as long as they don't prevent people from getting the real news and rumors.

Pretty funny - and strangely, Apple-like.
