My first computer (thanks grandma) was a IIe, which was replaced with a IIc. Then, unfortunately, I went to a PC for a number of years. What was I thinking? Finally back to an iMac about 7 years ago. Would never go back again.

I remember the IIe's when I used to be in elementary school and had computer class.

have you tried turning your wifi off to see if it would help remedy the issue?

...oh wait, that won't be available for another 10 or more years.

Montezuma's Revenge? Don't try a warranty repair, the moisture sensor likely triggered. :p

Awesome computer! I used the IIci all through grad school. I never did find a way to fill those whole 12 MB of RAM ;-)

Wow we've come a long way!

Don't worry, I think someone will finally decide to fix the freezing issue in another 20 years.

Just wait, be patient. ;)

Sorry, I meant the *mac* IIci, which I bought around 1992. I had 12 MB in that baby!

Have you tired Control-Open-Apple-Rest with the disk still in the drive. That should do the trick for you. Although you will lose where you where you where in Montezuma's Revenge. :D (Gosh has it been a while since I've played that! LOL!)
