iPod How to play a TV Series through an ipod classic

I have just downloaded a tv series from itunes on my ipod classic, when I go to play it through the ipod, I get a message that says "TV Out Enabled" - please connect video accessory. I don't want to play this through my tv just on my ipod. What does this mean?
 
you will have to go into the settings of the ipod and tell the ipod not to send the video to the tv port. if you like i can go get my ipod and walk you thru.
 
Hi - thank you for your help, if you could walk me through it that would be fab. I'm not very good at sorting these things out!!
