Add processor to G5

Hello everyone ...

I baught a G5 (1.8 single processor) last year and I would now like to try and add a processor. Is this possible ? I've looked at the mother board and there is a slot for another processor. Should have gone for the dual in the first place !

no it's not theres a space for it but there is no socket

even if there was a g5 direct from apple as a service part costs oddles of money

powerlogix or sonnet may make one in the future where both cpu's fit on the same socket but i'm not betting any testicals on it
