I'm a Reebok person... and since Adidas bought Reebok, that makes me an Adidas person (Adidas person by marriage? :D). I also like New Balance.
I will never buy a Nike as I do not like their labour practises.

Neither. I haven't had an item of clothing with anything written on it, with the exception of an AIM, American Indian Movement T-shirt, for 25 years. Logos are for retards.:p

Adidas bought Reebok? I didn't know that.
Anyways I never had a Nike shoes, I find them over priced.

I only wear Adidas or New Balance. I tried on a pair of Nike shoes a few years ago and they did not "feel" right on my feet. I also think a lot of the Nike shoes look pretty ugly. Don't get me wrong, some of the older style Nike shoes look pretty cool, but comfort is numero uno for me.

K-Swiss for everything. Pumas are good gym shoes too.

Adidas for regular shoes and golf shoes(wider)
Nike for cleats
Adidas for shorts (last longer)
Nike (and UA) for under shirts for working out and sports.
So I guess I'm split. It just depends on the application/situation....

I don't think I have a preference really.
I have Adidas football boots, trainers made by both, and clothing made by both.

I'm more of a Puma person. I used to be Reebok, then Nike, then Adidas and I've finally settled on Puma.

I like Adidas plimsols as I find them very comfortable, in saying that though I don't really harbour any serious brand loyalty towards them.
I can't think of any other branded sportswear I wear as it happens, other than football shirts – and in this instance I buy the shirt for the club or country rather than because it's made by a particular manufacturer. I only own one shirt from each of Nike and Adidas (and don't have a preference in terms of quality or what have you), but own far more by the likes of Umbro and Diadora, for example.

Most of the athletic shoes I've purchased in the last five or so years have been Pumas. I've bought a pair of adidas, and a couple pair of Nike, maybe, but most have been Pumas.

I have been very tempted to try another pair of Nike. I have flat feet and that is typically an issue for me. I've spent $200 on custom fit running shoes only to find out that they hurt my feet just as bad as a $50 pair. The only thing I think the customs did was align my body better.
That being said, I've seen some amazing things come from Nike but after buying a pair of NB in a TJ Maxx in Utica, NY on a whim when I forgot my so-called custom shoes ... I have been hooked. The ones I have now were $20 and they're pretty awesome but they're wearing. They don't look old because I've worn them mostly in the gym but the insides start to degrade over time.
I guess my answer is I'm a NB fan, if I knew I could buy a pair of Nike and wear them for a day then return them if they're no good, I would probably try out a pair.

I have about ten pairs of different running, basketball, and skateboarding shoes from them.

Neither, I'm a new balance person. These running shoes fit me the best. I found that nike hurt my feet when I run.

Used to be a Nike fiend...I buy a lot of Adidas sports specific gear (soccer)...but for running I wear New Balance and for casual usually Columbia or North Face...
Cheers.

If you're talking running shoes, I'm a New Balance person. :)
I guess it does have to be qualified:
For running I am now a New Balance person (the 805's are a sweet piece of work after years of Mizunos)
https://www.ecoupons.com/show_image.php?n=http://www.NBwebexpress.com%2Fproducts%2FMR805BR_lg.jpg
But in general I would call myself an Adidas guy, simply because of Nike's track record of being terrible quality and I don't like the feel of child labor on my feet.

I used to be all Nike, but the only Nike apparel I buy anymore are the Men's Celso Thong (not underwear, flip flops (http://store.nike.com/index.jsp?sitesrc=USLP&country=US&lang_locale=en_US#l=shop,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-1/pid-160011/pgid-64830)). They're extremely comfortable and the only ones I can wear that don't tear up my feet.
That or anything with Purdue on it, but it's usually not Nike OR Adidas.

Adidas. Best shoe i have ever had was a pair of A3 mega ride. I wore them until the bottom fell off, literally, and they still felt comfortable.
Never have liked Nike. They look cheap, don't seem to last very long, and are way over priced if you ask me.
I hate New Balance. I have a pair right now and they were really nice for the first week, now they feel like shoes that are 9 months old. I won't be buying another pair. I'm glad i only paid $50 for them. About all they are worth. They're the 1350s.

Neither. And I'm essentially a guy who is to athletic shoes as some women are to high heels. Actually, probably worse, because I can go shoe shopping with women but most women won't go shoe shopping with me more than once.
I like North Face and Saloman for trail running, Brooks and Saucony for road running, Asics for wrestling.

For shoes, neither. I'm definitely an Asics person there.
But for sports apparel, I really don't care. I have a wonderful pair of Nike running shorts that I use all the time. So i guess I'd have to say Nike there.

For shoes, neither. I love the look of Adidas shoes, but have never found a pair that fit right, so I stick with New Balance.
For workout clothing, I have some Adidas and some others, but no Nike, unless you count Nike+ :apple:.

I don't wear Adidas, like, at all.
For shoes, I've tried on adidas and always prefer Nike, K-SWISS, or Puma. My last couple pairs have been K-Swiss, and before that I had several pairs of Nike. I had a very expensive pair of Nike's once and they were simply the best shoes ever. Cool looking, incredibly comfortable, just nice overall. Couldn't find them again :(

All other types of shoes and athletic clothing, I buy whatever feels the best and/or looks the best.

I like Nike's brand and the things they do for the athletic community, but I'm not very brand loyal in an overarching sense. I've run in Saucony running shoes for ... eight years straight now, but I wouldn't really buy anything else because they made it.
Adidas has some great points. I don't think I have any temptation really at all to run in shoes by Nike or Adidas, but I probably would stop at Adidas first if I needed new soccer shoes. I like Nike's clothes but the ones that I really like are really expensive and I'm usually to cheap to buy them. :o I love Nikeplus but then my sensor died over the winter and I haven't replaced it....

I like Adidas. hehe.
Nike don't do it for me. Notwithstanding the fact that I have small feet for a guy, Nike are too narrow in the forefoot and no room for my high instep, so my feet much prefer Adidas, Brooks and Saucony.
FWIW be sure to run in the type of shoes that suit your gait i.e. don't run in a control or support shoe if you're a neutral runner like me. Not only won't they be comfortable in the long run (pun intended), but more than likely they will also be the cause of shin splints, sore knees and other little unnecessary aches and pains.

+1 for the Asics when it comes to running.
As for Nike vs. Adidas, I really just buy whatever looks good and feels good when I am shopping. Recently, I have purchased more Nike shoes than any other brand.

I do buy an occasional thing or two from Adidas but its mostly Nike for me.
Its not really a preference for the brand, but whenever im in a huge sports goods retailer i find myself drifting towards nike products. I guess i like their designs better.

well when i played soccer,
i had a pair of Adidas predator mania's and a pair of mercurial vapors and the mania's were amazing, vapors garbage. i allways wore my Adidas and occasionally the vapors. i mean i spent 300 on each and i barely wore the vapors.
i do have a pair of Nike soccer shorts i love though.
but, Adidas all the way.
but for running, asics hands down.

I like Adidas for everyday shoes, but if I'm paying full price for athletic wear, I prefer Nike because they have the Livestrong line. So if I pay full price for something, it's nice that 100% of the profit goes to a great organization.

In general I'm an Adidas person, but the best set of Soccer/Placekicking spikes I've ever owned were Nike's.
That being said, I'm pretty sure I have Shoes, pants and some sort of shirt from either brand. Head to Head, I'm a little partial to Adidas. Their shoes last forever and my Sambas are absolutely great!
