We all love our MBPs. I know the first time I got a little nick on the side of my MBP i was bummed. The aluminum is a sleek case but scratches are very noticeable compared to the traditional laptops.
Maybe one wouldn't feel too bummed when they see each others MBP scratches.

I know compared to some that this scratch is too small to be bummed about. But it bugs that you have to look at it every time. I'll get used to it though.:o

I don't dooooo scratches. I'm anal.

Some say the effort I use to protect my investments is overkill. But when I took these same precautions with my old $2,000 MBP, I was able to turn around and sell it after 3 years of use in "pristine" condition for $1,150. Which paid for half of the new one.:)

My screen is protected with the Radtech keyboard cover:

Which can be purchased here:

The laptop is then sealed in this Incase neoprene cover:

And then it is sealed into this briefcase:

I'm glad to hear that everyone has scratch-free MBPs, for now....... How about staying true to the thread and post a pic of a scratch on your MBP (not mentos)....

wow, MBP scratches, I would advise not to purchase a new car or a nice car if you are worried about scratches.

Who says i'm worried? It's just a thread to show off scratches, which is weird that nobody has posted a single one yet.

I imprinted a big dent on the bottom of my MBP the week I got it. Couldn't stand it so I replaced it asap. I know, I know... who even looks like the bottom? (call me crazy) Looked something like this.

I don't have any pictures, but, when I was taking off the bottom cover of my brand new MBP my screw driver slipped a couple times in the same place and scratched the bottom cover, but no biggie.

I was also taking it into my bed room to sit and charge and my door didn't open all the way and it knocked the corner of it and yelled "****!" and then proceeded to check it thoroughly for any dings, dents, misalignments, etc.

...what can I say? It's my baby.
