Audio clip made in iTunes- how to put it in iTunes Ringtone section

I can't get an audio file into the ringtones section of my iTunes... help pls

i searched with no luck already although the answer is probably there
 
ok so I've figured out I need to convert it to an m4r file, how can I do that if I didn't purchase the song from iTunes

hmmm.. im not aware of any software that can do that.. just try changing the extension to .m4r that could work 🙂
