Is there a way in iTunes for me

or make a smart playlist where you specify that "Playcount is 0". then once you play it, it shouldn't be in the playlist anymore. however, if you make a smart playlist where "Playcount is 1", it will automatically move to that one. that would be a good way to familiarize yourself with your library.
 
will i be able to make that play list play in random? I don't want to know what song is going to be played next. What I would really like is a shuffle feature that doesn't play the same songs over
 
Make a smart playlist with Play Count = 0:

If you make it like I showed above, played songs will be cleared off the play list.

You could also feed iTunes DJ with the smart playlist, and it would never stop...

You can shuffle such smart play lists: "never payed", "never played and new", "never played and not soundtrack", etc.
