any chance of new ACD's on 9/9?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 24" ACD (refurb), but I'd be terribly disappointed if I bought one now and then Apple announces new ones in two weeks. For those that have been following Apple much longer than I have - would they introduce something like this at their September event?
 
I'd love to know too but we know how much the rest of know about apples product release details 🙂
 
No. The 24" will be around for four years if history is any indicator.

September is iPod month, end of story. A 30" display that only 1% of anyone could afford has no place at the iPod conference.
